We're Not Done Yet

The grand opening of the Redberry Barn may have ended on Saturday, but Missy and I had so much fun that we are definitely not done yet! We are so grateful for the 20 customers who visited us at the barn over this busy holiday weekend. The Redberry Barn is located on a windy country road , off the beaten path in Louisa, Va. So for that many people to visit us for our opening means it was successful in our eyes.

We couldn’t be more delighted with the positive comments and feedback we received about the quaint and peaceful location of the Redberry Barn or the products we have to sell. We look forward to having another sale soon, and wish we had started sooner! We are taking the Redberry Barn on the road. On Saturday, December 11, we will be at Jouett Elementary School for their Breakfast with Santa and Holiday Bazaar. We will have some of the same items we featured at our grand opening, and that we showed on the blog. And we will also have new items just in time for Christmas.

If you live close by or feel like taking a road  trip make sure you visit us there! In the meantime, we are taking special orders. If there is something you would like to have made, let us know and we can make it for you. Or if there is an item you see on the blog that you are interested in buying please let us know.

And in the spirit of giving, we are planning a special giveaway (selected at random) to folks who leave a comment on our blog. Look for specific details on our giveaway soon!

5 and Counting...

Redberry Barn opened for business today at 9 am!  We've had 5 customers so far!  Here's a picture of Casey's aunt Jean, who was our first customer!

We had such a great time sharing our vision of Redberry Barn with everyone who stopped by, and I can't wait until tomorrow so that Casey and I can do it all again!  I think tomorrow will be an even better day, since we won't be competing with Black Friday shopping (sorry Steph, I know you hate that term!)

Our Open House is just a few more days away, and Casey and I are so excited (and a little nervous...) to be launching Redberry Barn.  We are more than over-the-top excited to be bringing our dream into fruition - you cannot possibly know how many hours we have talked about this little business of ours, and we hope you will enjoy shopping with us!  We want you to find something that warms your heart or is the perfect present for someone special in your life!
